An innocent looking starting hole. Play to the left side of the fairway to avoid the deep fairway bunkers on the right. Avoid the green side bunkers that are short and left of this green. The left side and back of this green slope away from you.

This long, demanding hole requires a well-placed tee shot that avoids the water on the left and the fairway bunkers on the right. Be careful on the uphill approach as it will play slightly longer. Avoid the grass bunker short of the green, though there is more room between the deep grass mound and the green than there appears from a distance.

A true 3-shot hole, this monster par 5 will challenge you from tee to green. As you arrive at this #1 handicap hole, take time to enjoy the view of the downtown St. Louis skyline prior to pulling the trigger. Avoid the native grass on the left and the bunkers on the right and you'll find yourself sitting pretty on the lush, bent grass fairway. Your work is not done yet, as your second shot must avoid the fairway bunkers that sit about 150 yards from the green. Your approach is difficult to get close because this tricky, undulating green makes birdies hard to come by. And if the pin is back, be careful. Long is not the place to be.

This demanding par 3 plays longer than you think. Make sure you miss the green side bunkers short left, though long isn't a cake walk either. The green slopes back-to-front on the right side but will run away from you, back and left. This green will challenge even the most accomplished putters.

This mammoth par 4 is one of the longest in Illinois. A big drive avoiding the fairway bunker on the left is a must, though you should also pay attention to the native grass on the right. Your long iron approach into this green must avoid the green side bunker; a bail out short or left is not a bad place to be. Walk off this green with a 4 and you just may pick up a shot on the field.

Miss the fairway bunker on the left side of this par 5 and you'll still have some options. Depending on your distance off the tee, you may have the opportunity to reach this green in two, though playing right of the row of bunkers is the smart move. Any attempt to carry the row of bunkers must avoid the hazards on the right and left. Lay up just inside the 150-yard pole and you'll have a good angle on your approach. Fire directly at this pin, for it may be one of your only birdie opportunities on the front nine.

Your tee shot here must carry the wetland area or you will be digging in your bag for another pill. There is more room on the left than you can see from the tee, and right is no picnic. The green side bunkers on this medium length par 3 will gobble you up if you don't avoid them.

Longer hitters can carry the bunkers on the left, making this hole considerably shorter. Otherwise, a smooth driver or 3-wood at the 150 yard pole is the proper shot. Your approach to a slightly elevated green is one of the most difficult on the course. Be forewarned -- the bunkers short right of this green must be avoided at all costs. and if you miss long left, the rough is a bear.

Long hitters beware! Hit your tee shot too far and you may end up running out of runway. Avoid the fairway bunkers on the right and the native grass on the left. Attempting to hit this green out of the rough will prove more difficult than you may think. A short iron approach to this large green seems easy enough, but just make sure you miss the bunker short.

This short par 4 is full of options. A shot short of the fairway bunker in the middle of the fairway is the safest play off the tee, leaving you just a wedge to 9-iron in. You may choose to be a little more aggressive and play over the fairway bunker or just tee it high and let it fly at the green. This green is well guarded by a creek running short and right, bunkers left, and thick rough long. This green slopes from left to right, kicking any errant shot into the creek. This short hole relinquishes far fewer birdies than you might guess.

Par 4 - Handicap 6 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18
Native grass right and left, and large deep grass mounds in the center, make this fairway extremely difficult to find. A mid-to-long iron approach to this back-to- front sloping green is all you will have left if you hit this fairway. Be sure not to miss this green long, for it's a hard up and down out of the thick rough.

Par 3 - Handicap 18 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18
This short par 3 can be intimidating if the wind is blowing at all. Don't miss short, long, left, or right. Short or left, you are wet; right or long, you'll find yourself in a bunker or deep rough. The green is two-tiered and it is imperative that you are on the right level.

Par 5 - Handicap 2 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18
Another 3-shot par 5. Only the longer hitters can carry the bunkers on the right, and there is an abundance of room beyond those bunkers that you can't see from the tee. This large fairway is best hit just to the left of the fairway bunkers. Your second shot should fly just past the 150 yard pole, placing you between the two fairway bunkers that await errant approaches. On this large two-tiered green, your stroke must find the way between the water and the bunker on the right. Make sure to check the pin placement because this green is quite deep.

Par 3 - Handicap 14 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18
This extremely long par 3 will test all your talent. The very large green is well protected on the right by deep grass mounds, on the left by two large bunkers, and long by a hazard. You may choose to run the ball up through the opening in the front. Par here is a good score.

This dogleg left is quite challenging. The long hitters can fly the right side of the fairway bunkers, shortening this hole considerably. The safe play is to the right of the bunkers, leaving yourself with a long iron approach to this receptive back-to-front sloping green, but be sure to avoid its side bunkers on your approach.

A great short par 4. Favor the left side of the fairway off the tee. Any tee shot to the right, if it manages to miss the bunkers, will leave you a blind second shot to this undulating green. Long hitters beware; this is not a driver. This green is well guarded by water left and a bunker short right and slopes severely from right to left toward the back. A solid approach is a must if you expect to make birdie.

On this long par 3, either hit the green or miss it short -- everything else is trouble. This green is large and breaks subtly from back to front. Make par here and you've done well.

One of the best finishing holes in the area. A long tee shot that avoids the bunkers on the left can give the aggressive player the opportunity to get home in two. The best lay up is over the bunker that lies in the middle of the fairway, leaving about 100 yards. This green is protected by deep bunkers on the right and water left. A definite birdie opportunity if played correctly.
